Zeit also für etwas Neues…

Now, I’m already dreaming of a time after Corona! I pack my new MCM backpack, which I treated myself to shortly before the crisis and take the following with me…

  • my sunglasses, because the sun will always seem to shine for a while
  • a light jacket for the evening/night, because I will surely be out longer
  • tissues for the tears of joy when I can hold my loved ones (friends and family) in my arms again
  • hand cream for the still rough hands from all the scrubbing and disinfecting
  • my wallet, to finally be able to enjoy delicacies at my favourite cafés and restaurants
  • my mobile phone for photos, to capture the beautiful world out there
  • red lipstick, because I noticed that on #nomakeup days this is enough to keep up appearances and look fresher
  • disinfection hand gel for all cases and because one is used to it in the meantime
  • if there is still room, a roll of toilet paper, should family/friends need it

Yeah, we’ re finally allowed to dream, right?! And at some point it will happen and I’m convinced that the crisis will do something to us. Something positive. At least with a big part of us. I want to believe that because it gives me hope!

A MCM backpack as an office bag

But now to my outfit, which is all about my new MCM backpack and the signal color red.

Who knows me, knows that I prefer to carry small bags. I find mini bags, which you can wear comfortably crossbody at best, simply beautiful. That’s why I usually take an additional jute bag with me when I go for a stroll through the city, on city trips etc., in which I carry purchases and stuff that doesn’t fit into the handbag anymore. In the ideal case the hubby carries the bag. That’s only fair, because usually a lot of his stuff ends up in it ;-)

My only big bag was therefore my office bag from Tory Burch, which I have carried with me daily to the office and on business trips for exactly three years. Did? Yes, because recently I noticed some unsightly marks on the handles from all the carrying. So it’s time for something new… But since I don’t really enjoy browsing around for a classic office bag, I changed my mind in the meantime and started looking for a stylish backpack. They’re not only trendy, but also very practical – especially if you like to cycle to work. But the best thing is: Such a cool backpack is not only a highlight in the office, but also in everyday life, on trips and even for shootings!

Spring outfit with MCM backpack

I have chosen a medium sized backpack from MCM with a typical logo print from the winter collection. Practically also quite well reduced and I think the color combination khaki and light red fits for every season!

To show you the good piece for the first time, I took up the beautiful red tone also in the rest of the outfit again and again. Sweater, earrings, shoes – also new, by the way – and of course lips and fingernails also set red accents. Add a casual jeans culotte and the fresh spring look is ready.
